Objective
The project supports universities in Vietnam and Laos in training engineers, bachelors and technicians on plastic recycling and waste management; connecting academia and industry in waste management; improve the ability to be recruited after graduation and encourage startup efforts of graduates and university staff.
Activities
- Develop a set of training materials, modernize the existing curriculum;
- Established two training and research centres on plastic recycling, located at Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City and Laos National University;
- Establish a training network on waste recycling; and
- Organize training courses for businesses, lecturers and students in the field of plastic management and recycling.
