VNCPC – A journey of creating sustainable value with enterprises
We began with one question: How can Vietnamese enterprises produce more efficiently without compromising the environment?
In 1998, that question turned into action when the Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre – the predecessor of Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre Co., Ltd. (VNCPC) – was established within the framework of cooperation between the Government of Switzerland through the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
From its earliest days, VNCPC has carried the mission of promoting cleaner production, improving resource efficiency, and supporting enterprises in developing towards sustainability.
Over nearly 30 years of operation, VNCPC has accompanied thousands of enterprises in Vietnam and several countries in the region, such as Laos and Myanmar. The value of VNCPC is measured not only by the number of workshops or reports delivered, but above all by practical results at enterprises – from cost savings and more efficient use of resources to clear improvements in environmental performance and competitiveness.

Despite fluctuations in the global economy, VNCPC remains steadfast in its guiding principle: “Partnering for Sustainable Development”. We understand that a green solution only has real value when it brings practical benefits to enterprises. With a team of experienced experts and an extensive network of domestic and international partners, VNCPC is currently an official member of RECPnet – the global network for Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production coordinated by UNIDO and UNEP.
VNCPC is also a trusted partner of government agencies, development organizations, international donors, business associations, industrial parks, and the Vietnamese and regional business communities.
